On Friday, all Japanese classes celebrated the end of the year by having noodles, following the Japanese custom of wishing longevity and good luck for the New Year. Thank you for everyone who donated money to make this happen! 6th graders learned how to use chopsticks & how to eat noodles for the first time...some struggled in using the chopsticks, but they enjoyed the experience! Thank you for everyone who brought additional food, drinks, desserts, and utensils to make this party so special! 6th grade 1st period 6th grade 2nd period 7th grade 3rd period: Wow, this class had so much desserts! :) 7th grade 4th period and 8th grade...this is their last noodles party, so I cooked both うどんとそばfor them! :) All Japanese students made ねんがじょう for the Year of the Sheep. Students voted for the bestねんがじょう for each class!
